Description
The Hofgarten with its four bowl fountains is considered one of the most beautiful green spaces in Munich. In 1560, the Italian-style park was commissioned by Duke Albrecht of Bavaria. Its landmark is the Temple of Diana with four shell-shaped wall fountains. In the summer, musicians like to play here and couples come by to dance tango or salsa.
