Description
Weisswurst is one of Munich's best-known specialties. People like to eat it in the morning with sweet mustard and pretzels. Weißwurst, which consists mainly of veal, is said to have been invented in 1857 in an inn on Marienplatz. In Munich's restaurants, it is served with hot water in a White Sausage Pot made of porcelain, which is therefore a symbol of the Bavarian capital. The Weißwursttopf bracelet is made in southern Germany. It is plated in fine gold and the fabric ribbon is hand-knotted.
