Description
The Monopteros in the English Garden was designed by Leo von Klenze on behalf of Ludwig I and completed in 1836. The round temple stands on a hill and is around 16 meters high. In the 1960s, it was a meeting place for hippies and nudists and thus became a symbol of Munich's tolerance and cosmopolitanism.
The Monopteros bracelet is made in southern Germany. The Munich symbol is rhodium-plated to a high standard and the fabric ribbon is hand-knotted.
