Description
The Edelweiss is the best-known and most sought-after flower in the Alps. It was commercialised at the end of the 19th century and from then on was used to decorate clothing and jewellery. To this day, there are goods of all kinds in Munich that are labelled with an edelweiss. The most Bavarian of all flowers is regarded as a symbol of the city.
The Edelweiss bracelet is made in southern Germany. The Munich symbol is rhodium-plated to a high standard and the fabric ribbon is hand-knotted.
